Get right books. Revise the subjects by taking up practice tests. Go through previous years question papers and practice. It will help you increase your answering approach and writing speed. Take up mock tests to boost your confidence. Read news paper and magazine to keep yourself updated with current affairs happening not only in India but also across the globe
Avoid the following if you want to excel in exam
● You get addicted to reading and so do not waste your time on reading unnecessary material
● Do not copy writing techniques of anybody keep it your own
● Do not listen to bad experiences of friends and seniors regarding their UPSC exam attempts
● Be confident but never overconfident
